WOMEN EMPOWERMENT THROUGH CAPACITY BUILDING ON VALUE ADDITION OF FRESH FRUITS, VEGETABLES AND COOKING RECIPES👩‍🍳🍏🍊🍅🥦
A two-day training session was organized at RAEDC
(Regional Agricultural Economic Development Centre) Vehari, focusing on empowering women through capacity building on value addition of fresh fruits, vegetables, and cooking recipes. The training was delivered by esteemed scientific officers, Miss Rabiya and Miss Sidra, from the Post Harvest Research Centre, AARI. The session aimed to equip female participants with practical skills and knowledge to enhance their livelihoods and promote economic independence.
Scientific officers played a pivotal role in empowering women through a unique training program focused on adding value to fruits and vegetables. The participants, all females, showed immense enthusiasm and interest as they learned innovative ways to turn everyday produce into profitable products. Under the guidance of these officers, the women discovered the potential of transforming simple fruits and vegetables into jams, pickles, and more 🍓🥔.
The training not only equipped them with new skills but also boosted their confidence to become entrepreneurs . The participants' eagerness to learn and apply these skills was truly inspiring.

Rabiya Zulfiqar and Bareera Shafiq, scientific officers from the Post-Harvest Research Centre at AARI, delivered a impactful one-day training session on value addition of fruits and vegetables at Govt. Graduate College (Girls) on Sargodha Road, Faisalabad.
