The Business Incubation Center (BIC), University of Agriculture Faisalabad, hosted an academic visit by a group of undergraduate students from Namal University, Mianwali, on May 5, 2026, aimed at enhancing awareness about entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup development.
The visiting delegation was accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Ahmad (Head) and Dr. Azhar Rasool (Assistant Professor) from the Department of Business Studies, along with other faculty members from Namal University. During the visit, Dr. Hammad Badar, Director, BIC‑UAF, delivered an insightful lecture highlighting the vision, mandate, facilities, and incubation support mechanisms offered by the Business Incubation Center to nurture student and faculty startups at UAF. He also introduced the BIC team to the visiting students, explaining their roles in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Shahbaz Nasir Khan, Deputy Director, BIC‑UAF, interacted with the students and highlighted the role of BIC in uplifting students through mentorship, incubation facilities, commercialization support, and industry linkages. He also introduced the faculty startups incubated at BIC‑UAF, encouraging students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities.
A key highlight of the visit was the presentation of “Euphoric Glam,” a successful student startup incubated at BIC‑UAF, showcased as a role‑model venture for aspiring entrepreneurs. In addition, a faculty‑led startup, Scent Organic Food by Dr. Raja Adil Sarfraz, was also showcased, providing valuable insights into faculty‑driven entrepreneurship and commercialization.
The BIC‑UAF team acknowledged the kind gesture and active participation of the visiting faculty and students from Namal University, Mianwali.
