After being involved in investing and being able to observe different currencies and asset classes for some years now I have realized that there is nothing stable about anything.
Every asset class, every market, every way of life, every industry, every niche and every genre is manipulated by some institution or multiple institutions.
Even in cryptocurrency there is this thing called a "Stable coin" which consists of digital currencies pegged to fiat money. USDT, USDC, UST, TUSD etc... all supposed to be "stable" and remain at a 1:1 ratio to the USD. But the USD is not even stable we just saw the FED inflate the economy with around 40% of the circulating supply in the last couple years causing record high inflation. So Even stables coins in crypto is just a facade.
Over the last 48 hours Swift Payment Systems cut off Russia causing their currency the Rouble to lose 40% of its purchasing power relative to the exchange rate to USD.
The housing market is manipulated not only in the fluctuating and unstable prices (see 2008 housing market collapse) but also in the language people use for example when people finance a house its called a mortgage. Well the word mortgage comes from old French "Mort" as in mortuary where dead people go and "gage" which means pledge / contract so mortgage actually means death pledge. Its not a coincidence that many people die before they can even pay off their mortgage and the ones that do many of them it takes them their whole life.
If you look at the purchasing power of the USD graphed out over the last 100 years its anything but stable. Its just boom and bust cycles on a continued downward trend.
The entire world is rigged in favor of those who have the power to manipulate markets. Mainly being central banks and big hedge funds who control the media and the politicians.
Its all a suckers rally and im really tired of it. I just want everyone to be on a level playing field where everyone can prosper with out it being at the expense of innocent people who dont understand the manipulation.
