کسی معاشرے میں نئی نسل کو وہی سکھایا اور پڑھایا جاتا ہے، جو ریاستی مقتدرہ کی مرضی و منشا ہوتی ہے ، کیونکہ ہمارے اساتذہ نہ سقراط ہیں اور نہ کنفیوشس کہ اپنے شاگردوں کو سوال کرنے کی اجازت دے کر ان کے ذہنوں میں کلبلاتے سوالوں کی تشفی کریں۔
اس لئے اگر نصاب میں درج کر دیا جائے کہ برف کالی ہوتی ہے، تو اساتذہ برف کو کالا ہی پڑھائیں گے۔ کوئی بچہ یہ سوال کر دے کہ برف کالی نہیں بے رنگ ہوتی ہے تو اس کی سرزنش کی جاتی ہے۔ گویا ہم اپنے معاشروں میں سوال کرنے والے ذہن تیار کرنے کے بجائے ایسے روبوٹس تیار کر رہے ہیں ، جو اشرافیہ کے متعین کردہ ریاست کے منطقی جواز اور قواعد و ضوابط ہی کو حقیقی سمجھیں ہماری تعليم علم نہیں۔
