The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is reported to have said:

​“Whoever recites Surah Yasin in the beginning of the day, his needs will be fulfilled.”

​Clarification: The "beginning of the day" (صدر النهار - Sadr an-Nahar) starts from Subh Sadiq (dawn, the beginning of Fajr time) until noon. Reciting it after the Fajr prayer falls perfectly within this time. The needs mentioned are understood to include worldly and religious needs (Dunya and Deen).

​رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا:
​”جو شخص دن کے ابتدائی حصے میں سورۃ یٰسِين پڑھے گا، اس کی حاجتیں پوری کر دی جائیں گی۔“
​وضاحت: دن کے ابتدائی حصے سے مراد صبح صادق (فجر کے وقت کا آغاز) سے لے کر دوپہر تک کا وقت ہے۔ اس لیے فجر کی نماز کے بعد اس سورت کو پڑھنا اس فضیلت کے وقت میں شامل ہے۔ حاجتوں میں دنیاوی اور دینی دونوں طرح کی حاجات شامل ہیں۔

Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 810
(Also reported in Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith No. 1460)
​
​Ubayy ibn Ka'b (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked him, "O Abu al-Mundhir, do you know which verse in the Book of Allah is the greatest?"
​He replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best."
​The Prophet (ﷺ) repeated the question. Ubayy replied, "Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, al-Hayy al-Qayyum (Ayat al-Kursi)."

​Thereupon, the Prophet (ﷺ) patted him on his chest and said, "Congratulations on your knowledge, O Abu al-Mundhir! By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, it (Ayat al-Kursi) has a tongue and two lips, and it glorifies the Sovereign (Allah) at the foot of the Throne."

​ (فضیلت: قرآن کی سب سے عظیم آیت)
​حضرت ابی بن کعب (رضی اللہ عنہ) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے پوچھا، ”اے ابو المنذر! تم جانتے ہو کہ اللہ کی کتاب میں سب سے عظیم آیت کون سی ہے؟“
​انہوں نے عرض کیا: ”اللہ اور اس کا رسول ہی بہتر جانتے ہیں۔“
​نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سوال دہرایا۔ انہوں نے کہا: ”اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ“ (یعنی آیت الکرسی)۔
​اس پر نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے سینے پر ہاتھ مارا اور فرمایا: ”اے ابو المنذر! تمہیں تمہارا علم مبارک ہو۔ اُس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے! اس آیت کی ایک زبان اور دو ہونٹ ہیں، اور یہ عرش کے دامن میں بادشاہ (اللہ) کی تقدیس بیان کرتی ہے۔“

Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

​“Everything has an adornment (or beauty), and the adornment of the Qur'an is Surah Ar-Rahman.”

​(فضیلت: قرآن کی زینت/دلہن)
​حضرت عبداللہ ابن مسعود (رضی اللہ عنہ) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
​”ہر چیز کی ایک زینت (یا دلہن) ہوتی ہے، اور قرآن کی زینت سورۃ الرحمن ہے۔“
