OGRA Reduced the LPG Price

Pakistan News / Islamabad News > Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Thursday reduced the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs27 per kilogramme. According to a notification issued by Ogra here, the price of local/imported LPG has now come down to Rs86.40 per kilogramme. Karachi: First-ever LPG filling station has been set up at Shahra-e-Faisal
The first-ever liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling station of the country titled‚ "HASCOL"‚ has been setup at Shahra-e-Faisal‚ in Karachi.

The Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources‚ Dr. Asim Hussian‚ inaugurated the station.

Speaking on the occasion‚ he said that a 55 percent energy load is just on gas‚ as compared to other natural resources including petrol‚ diesel‚ kerosene and coal. This dependence needs to be curtailed‚ following an acute shortage of gas in the country.

The Minister said the Sui Southern Gas Company has setup its own LPG plant at Bin Qasim in Karachi‚ which would greatly help in importing and supplyhing LPG to the LPG stations across the country.
