ITMinds Limited & Salaam Family Takaful Limited entered into a Joint Venture arrangement to offer Digital Takaful (Insurance) & Back-Office Accounting Solutions

ITMinds Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDCPL), a leading BPO service provider specializing in back-office accounting and IT-enabled solutions, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Salaam Family Takaful Limited (SFTL), a SECP-licensed Pakistan’s first ever Digital-Only Family Takaful (i.e. Islamic Life Insurance) company that has developed proprietary digital insurance platforms. This partnership aims to jointly market Family Takaful / Life Insurance ERP and Back office Accounting digital solutions within Pakistan and abroad.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Syed Nayyar Hussain Zaidi Senior Executive Director SFTL and Mr. Iqleem-uz-Zaman Khan CEO-ITMinds in the presence of Mr. Badiuddin Akber Director-ITMinds & CEO-CDCPL and Mr. Rizwan Hussain CEO SFTL along with senior executives of both the companies.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Syed Nayyar Hussain Zaidi Senior Executive Director SFTL said that this agreement will aid in expanding the commercial out reach of both digital solutions within the insurance, Takaful, and financial sectors & enable cross-selling opportunities by utilizing each party’s existing networks. Also commenting on the occasion, Mr. Badiuddin Akber, Director ITMinds & CEO-CDCPL said that the agreement will not only provide scalable FinTech and back-office systems to institutions seeking digitization and operational efficiency but also promote mutual business growth through a structured, collaborative, and market-driven approach.

ITMinds Limited and Trikl Technologies (Pvt) Limited collaborate to digitize end-to-end back-office operations

ITMinds Limited (ITMinds), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDCPL), has partnered with Trikl Technologies (Pvt) Limited (Trikl) to provide back-office services. The agreement was signed by Mr. Haseeb Siddiqui CEO-Trikl, and Mr. Iqleem-uz-Zaman Khan, CEO-ITMinds, in the presence of Mr. Badiuddin Akber, Director ITMinds & CEO-CDCPL, Syed Asif Shah, CIDO-CDC, Mr. Waqas Ashraf, CFO-ITMinds, and other senior members of both companies.

At the occasion, Mr. Badiuddin Akber, Director ITMinds & CEO-CDCPL shared his positive outlook regarding the collaboration between ITMinds and Trikl, stating that "In its vision for market development and digitization, CDC is committed to promoting digital platforms and considers this partnership an essential step in this direction. We feel proud that through this collaboration, ITMinds is providing the required back office arrangement and infrastructure for digital AMCs, thereby enabling them to make the investment in a seamless manner”

Trikl and ITMinds have jointly developed comprehensive APIs for integrating the front-end portal of Trikl with the back office system of ITMinds. As part of this agreement, ITMinds will handle back-office functions such as accounting services, settlement of portfolios, unit management-related activities, facilitation for compliance/reporting, information security and business continuity.

Arif Habib Dolmen REIT Management Limited outsources its Back Office Functions to ITMinds Limited

Karachi June 09, 2023: Arif Habib Dolmen REIT Management Limited (AHDRML) has entered into an outsourcing arrangement with ITMinds Limited (ITMinds), a wholly owned subsidiary of Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDCPL), whereby ITMinds will provide Back Office Accounting Services to AHDRML. The agreement was signed by Mr. Muhammad Ejaz CEO-AHDRML with Mr. Iqleem-uz-Zaman Khan CEO-ITMinds in the presence of Mr. Badiuddin Akber Director-ITMinds & CEO-CDCPL, Mr. Waqas Ashraf CFO- ITMinds, Mr. Razi CFO-AHDRML and other senior members of both the Companies.

Through this arrangement, ITMinds will facilitate AHDRML in concentrating on their core business activities, i.e. managing a variety of REITs, by relieving them from various non-core back office functions like accounting services, settlement of portfolios, facilitation for compliance/ reporting, Information Security Management, Business Continuity and IT arrangements.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Muhammad Ejaz, CEO-AHDRML, said that this arrangement will enable AHDRML to concentrate on its core business of managing various types of REITs while outsourcing the back office functions to a professional Fund Administrator. The agreement was signed by Mr. Mubashir Zuberi, CIO-MWL, and Mr. Iqleem-uz-Zaman Khan, CEO-ITMinds, in the presence of Mr. Badiuddin Akber, Director ITMinds & CEO-CDCPL, Mr. Zeeshan Shabbir Abbasi, VP Engineering-MWL, Mr. Waqas Ashraf, CFO-ITMinds, and other senior members of both companies.

MWL and ITMinds have jointly developed comprehensive APIs for integrating MWL’s portal with back office system of ITMinds, ensuring straight-through processing of transactions. As part of this agreement, ITMinds will handle back-office functions such as accounting services, settlement of portfolios, unit management-related activities, facilitation for compliance/reporting, information security and business continuity.

At the occasion, Mr. Badiuddin Akber, Director ITMinds & CEO-CDCPL, also shared his positive outlook regarding the collaboration between ITMinds and MWL, stating that " CDC is committed to promoting digital platforms and considers this partnership an essential step in that direction.
