The idea was initiated by five young and dedicated students of IBA. Our idea intends to radically change the approach towards eradicating unemployment situation in Pakistan by providing micro financing coupled with financial, marketing and management consultancy to people so they can start small scale businesses. Our main idea is not only to assist them in providing capital through Islamic micro f
inancing but also the necessary expertise they require for the continuation of their ventures. Initially we will own these businesses and will employ people to work for us. We will be setting up small scale, sustainable businesses (like French fries shops, mobile repair shops) where we’ll be the owners and the managers and the customers (the currently unemployed people) will be our employees. They’ll learn the tools of business get hands on training and acquire the specific skills of the business. Once the original business has started making profit and the employees have learnt the skills and business practices we will start franchising the business to our employees.
