Pakistan's Biggest Housing Scheme
With a population of 10 million people and a high population growth rate of over 3 percent per year, Lahore is fast emerging as a leading metropolis in the region. On the South, the LDA City Lahore embraces the Ferozepur Road, to its North, it has the Defence Road/Hadyara Drain and towards its West it has the Karachi Railway Line, Halloki. In future, the project will be expanded to comprise a total of 60,000 Kanals of land area.
LDA is developing LDA City Lahore under public-private partnership. For this purpose, five leading Development Partners (DPs) have been taken on board and as per agreement the (DPs) will be procuring and providing land for the project in the most transparent manner.
