Fundamentals of Instrumentation and Control

What is It:

SUMICO Technologies arranges basic and advanced level technology training courses throughout the year. Sumico has arranged a course on Fundamentals of Instrumentation and Control. This course gives a board based perspective of industrial process, measurement and control. It addresses the basic principles and concepts of 4-basics: flow, pressure, level and temperature measurements in process industries. Some details of this course are given below:

Why should you attend?

Participants learn the essential components of control systems, including the functions and operating principles of control valves and applications of controllers (Pneumatic, electronic) the course introduces advance process control methods.

Who should attend?

Engineer with no previous process control exposure. Instrument technicians and supervisors. Other responsible for instrumentation in process industry, personnel who want to familiarize themselves with instrumentation, faculty of technical schools / institutes

Mr. M. Yousuf Shahabi is the Principal, Prime Institute of Technology, Multan. He is a Senior Life Member ISA (Instrumentation Society of America - 04002799) since 1976. He has acquired an Associate Degree in Instrumentation, from TSTI – WACO, TEXAS, USA. 1985. He is also an Affiliate of IFAC (International Federation for Automatic Control). He has 16 Years Teaching Experience and 25 Years experience of Instrumentation in industries like Fertilizer, Petroleum, Refinery, Off-shore oil fields, on–shore Gas fields, in Pakistan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. He has conducted successful short courses for Industries such as Engro chemical Pakistan, Attock oil Refinery, Oil and Gas Training Institute, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, Olympia Chemicals Ltd, Engro Innovative Automation Engineering, and OMS Lahore.
