Our prayers and condolences to the families of 132 children (maybe even more) who were killed due to su***de bombing by the Taliban. May the families have the strength to move on on the darkest time in their life.

We managed to see an amazing theatrical performance through Independent Theatre Company's play based on Saadat Hassan Manto. Kamra #9 was an amazing experience and not to mention one of the best plays that we have ever seen...... and captured. It was yet another masterpiece executed by Azeem Hamid and his team consisting of Faizan Naveed, Namwar Ayaz, Zoya Uzair, Ishmal Malik and Abu-Bakar Siddique. Being the team that had captured Independent Theatre Company's first play (Hatak) to the Journey that it is still progressing to and the heights that it has reached, we can surely say that this Company is truly "ONE OF A KIND". Here are some pictures to the play:

Kamra #9 is a theatrical performance and production by Independent Theatre Pakistan.

The performance is written by Saadat Hasan Manto and directed by Azeem Hamid, staged at Alhamra Arts Council, Hall #2, Mall Road - Lahore on 10th & 11th December 2014 with full-house crowd on each day.

The performance features Faizan Naveed, Zoya Uzair, Namwar Ayaz, Ishmal Malik & Abu Bakr Siddique.

Live music featured Moeen Ahmed on harmonium & vocals alongside Rehmat Ali on tabla.
