In a monumental development for higher education and veterinary sciences in our region, the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC)—in its 65th Council Meeting—has officially approved the launch of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree Program at the Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, University of Layyah with an initial seat allocation of 40 students! 🏛️✨

This historic achievement stands as a testament to the visionary leadership of our worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zubair Abu Bakar and the relentless, dedicated efforts of his team.

Aspiring veterinary professionals will no longer have to travel far to pursue higher education in veterinary medicine—world-class training, modern infrastructure, and professional degrees are now available right here at home!

If you appeared in the MDCAT exam at the UL University of Layyah center without your original CNIC/identity documents and were facilitated via thumb impression, please read this carefully.

To ensure your test results are processed, you must complete your physical identity verification at the UHS Help Desk immediately.

* Action Required: Visit the UHS Help Desk to verify your identity.
* Warning: Failure to complete this verification will result in the cancellation of your test.

Note: This applies to around 12 students who were conditionally allowed to sit for the test at the University of Layyah center. Please spread the word so the affected candidates can complete their verification on time!
