I recently had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Imtiaz Hussain Abbasi during a flight and what began as a brief conversation quickly turned into an insightful discussion on leadership, growth, and the clarity of vision required to build institutions that truly stand the test of time.

And perhaps, Pakistan’s biggest retail experience at Imtiaz Mega E-11, Islamabad, is one such reflection of that vision. I am delighted that DSG Energy has had the privilege to contribute to this latest milestone through the development of a 2 MW Solar Power Plant, helping power one of Pakistan’s most ambitious retail destinations.

اپنے بڑے بھائی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر فرخ ارسلان صدیقی Farrukh Arsalan Siddiqui کو پاکستان کے کم عمر ترین وائس چانسلرز میں شامل ہونے اور یونیورسٹی آف چکوال کے وائس چانسلر کے طور پر ذمہ داریاں سنبھالنے پر دل کی گہرائیوں سے مبارکباد۔ یہ صرف ایک عہدہ نہیں بلکہ برسوں کی محنت، علم، استقامت اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے خاص فضل کا نتیجہ ہے۔ ایک طویل اور انتہائی سخت انتخابی مرحلے کے بعد اس مقام تک پہنچنا ان کی علمی قابلیت، قیادت اور بے مثال مستقل مزاجی کا ثبوت ہے۔ میرے لیے سب سے جذباتی لمحہ وہ تھا جب ہمارے والد محترم پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حمید رضا صدیقی ان کے سامنے بیٹھے یہ سب اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھ رہے تھے۔ ایک باپ، ایک استاد، ایک رہنما… اپنی زندگی بھر کی محنت، تربیت اور علم کو اپنی اولاد کی صورت میں آگے بڑھتا دیکھ رہا تھا۔ اقبالؒ کا یہ شعر آج بار بار ذہن میں آتا ہے:
"باپ کا علم نہ بیٹے کو اگر ازبر ہو،
پھر پسر قابلِ میراثِ پدر کیوں کر ہو"

میں نے فرخ بھائی کی پوری جدوجہد اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھی ہے۔ ملتان پبلک اسکول سے لے کر گورنمنٹ کالج ملتان، پھر یو ای ٹی لاہور اور اس کے بعد یونیورسٹی آف آکسفورڈ تک… ہر مرحلے پر ان کی محنت، نظم و ضبط، یکسوئی اور تسلسل ہمیشہ سب سے نمایاں رہا۔ میں نے زندگی میں بہت قابل لوگ دیکھے ہیں، مگر جو مستقل مزاجی میں نے ان میں دیکھی، اس کی مثال واقعی بہت کم ملتی ہے۔ وہ کبھی رکے نہیں، کبھی تھکے نہیں، اور کبھی اپنے مقصد سے پیچھے نہیں ہٹے۔ یہی خوبیاں آج انہیں اس مقام تک لے کر آئی ہیں۔ انہوں نے صرف اپنا نام نہیں بنایا بلکہ صدیقی خاندان، اپنے اساتذہ، اپنے شہر ملتان، اور سب سے بڑھ کر اپنے والد محترم پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حمید رضا صدیقی کا سر فخر سے بلند کر دیا ہے۔ بطور چھوٹا بھائی، میں ہمیشہ سے ان کا مداح رہا ہوں، مگر آج دل سے یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میں اپنے بھائی کا بہت بڑا فین ہوں۔

اور آخر میں اپنے والدِ محترم کو خصوصی مبارکباد دینا چاہتا ہوں۔ لوگ اکثر کہتے ہیں کہ “باپ عظیم ہوتا ہے”، مگر ایک باپ اپنی اولاد کی ایسی تربیت کرے کہ ہر بچہ اپنے میدان میں پہچان بن جائے… یہ منظر آج حقیقت میں دیکھا۔ آپ کی بڑی بیٹی نیلم نے تعلیم کے میدان میں اپنا نام پیدا کیا اور آج کراچی کے ایک معروف نجی اسکول میں سینئر ٹیچر اور شعبہ کی سربراہ کے طور پر خدمات انجام دے رہی ہیں۔ دوسری بیٹی ڈاکٹر ارم ناز نے تعلیم اور طب کے میدان میں اپنی قابلیت اور محنت سے دنیا بھر میں اپنا لوہا منوایا، اور آج فرخ بھائی نے پاکستان میں ایک نئی شناخت قائم کی ہے۔ واقعی، آج سمجھ آیا کہ ایک عظیم باپ صرف خود کامیاب نہیں ہوتا بلکہ اپنی اولاد کو بھ
