What is Interjection?
An interjection is a word or phrase used to express sudden emotion or reaction. It is often used in informal speech and writing and usually stands alone, separated by punctuation such as an exclamation mark or a comma.
Examples of Interjections:
1. Wow! That’s an amazing view.
2. Oh, no! I forgot my wallet.
3. Oops! I dropped my phone.
4. Hey! Watch where you’re going.
5. Bravo! You did an excellent job.
Interjections are not grammatically connected to the rest of the sentence but help convey feelings such as surprise, happiness, anger, pain, or excitement.
