MoU Signing Ceremony
DRIVING BLUE ECONOMY AWARENESS AND INNOVATION BEYOND COASTAL BOUNDARIES — INTO THE HEART OF PAKISTAN

BlueNet+ and Minhaj University Lahore formalised a significant partnership during PIMEC 2025, marking a major milestone in advancing Pakistan’s Blue Economy, maritime education, and sustainability leadership—reaching communities far beyond the country’s coastal urban centres.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. Nuzhat Khan, CEO, BlueNet+, and Prof. Dr. Sajid Mehmood Shahzad, Vice-Chancellor, Minhaj University Lahore.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Uzma Naz, Assistant Professor & Head, School of International Relations, Minhaj University Lahore, and Prof. Dr. Farhan Essa Abdullah, CEO, Dr. Essa Laboratory & Diagnostic Center, along with the teams from both institutions.
This collaboration reinforces a shared commitment to strengthening marine science education, capacity building, innovation, and entrepreneurship, particularly under the Pakistan Maritime Sustainable Ecosystem (PMSE) initiative led by BlueNet+.
Together, both institutions aim to expand maritime awareness beyond coastal cities and into the wider nation through knowledge exchange, research partnerships, and inclusive development.

We are thrilled to announce that our CEO, Dr. Nuzhat Khan, an esteemed Blue Economy expert, has been invited to participate as a panelist at the Pakistan Tourism Symposium and Expo 2024!

Dr. Khan will be sharing her insights on "Blue Tourism", on June 10th at 3:30 PM. This prestigious event, organized by the Federal Government, aims to build the tourism economy through green investments and will feature over 350 national and international tourism professionals.
