The Secretary, Communication & Works Department, Gilgit-Baltistan, Mr. Sajad Haider, accompanied by the Chief Engineer, C&W Gilgit-Baltistan, and other departmental officials, visited the construction site of the Skardu Bypass Road near Manthal.
The Executive Engineer, C&W Department, Mr. Zakawat, along with Mr. Nasir Hussain, representing the contracting firm Haji Muhammad Ali & Sons, briefed the Secretary on the progress of the project and highlighted the key challenges encountered during ex*****on.
The Secretary commended the quality of work observed at the site. He directed the concerned officials to expedite the pace of construction and to take necessary measures to address the identified challenges. He also acknowledged and appreciated the contractor’s commitment to maintaining work standards.
