Affan Salman, a 16-year-old from Pakistan, has won the World Youth Scrabble Championship in Sri Lanka, marking a historic achievement for his country. This victory represents Pakistan’s fifth title in the prestigious event, making it the first nation to accomplish such a feat.
Salman excelled by winning 19 out of 23 games, showcasing his strategic prowess and skill. The competition drew 138 players from around the world. According to the World English-Language Scrabble Players Association (WESPA), Salman concluded the tournament with an impressive 20-4 record and a spread of +1793.
