Day 14 of building Renewly.

Today I added backup & restore users can now back up their subscription data and bring it back anytime they need it. No more losing your data if you switch phones or reinstall the app.

A few months ago, I realized something that honestly hit me hard.

I spent 3-4 months in an academy learning Flutter the basics, the widgets, the simple stuff. Then I joined a software house and saw people learn the exact same things in just 2 days.

At first, I thought maybe it was just me. But then my close friend told me the exact same thing happened to him. That's when I understood this isn't one person's problem, it's a pattern.

Here's what I believe now: an academy or course only gives you about 10% of what you need. The other 90%, you learn by doing it yourself watching real tutorials, googling your errors, using AI tools, and just building things.

And the best part? When you learn this way, you also build something more valuable than the skill itself problem-solving. That's what makes a developer actually useful.
