The revelation of the divine message and accepting it immediately was not an easy task.

Throughout this entire process, there were also many hardships and trials.

When the revelation came for the first time, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, like Prophet Musa (Moses) AS, was also overcome with fear. However, Allah had already prepared Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for all of this. He ﷺ had spent a large part of his life in contemplation, reflection, and the search for truth and self-awareness.

This journey was one of truth and purity. After Angel Jibreel AS brought the revelation, the first day was extremely difficult for the Prophet ﷺ, but once he understood his special purpose, he stood firm in the way of Allah and did those things that were not easy.

In this battle of faith, truth, and justice, the Prophet ﷺ endured immense suffering throughout his entire life, and ultimately, he delivered Allah's message to the entire world.

Now it is our duty to understand this Deen (faith), to act upon it, and to convey Allah's message to others.

Our Prophet ﷺ left behind his Sunnah and Hadith for us, and above that, the Quran, so that we may not go astray.

Khadija then accompanied him to her cousin Waraqa bin Naufal bin Asad bin 'Abdul 'Uzza, who, during the pre-Islamic Period became a Christian and used to write the writing with Hebrew letters. He would write from the Gospel in Hebrew as much as Allah wished him to write. He was an old man and had lost his eyesight. Khadija said to Waraqa, Listen to the story of your nephew, O my cousin! Waraqa asked, O my nephew! What have you seen? Allah's Apostle described whatever he had seen. Waraqa said, This is the same one who keeps the secrets (angel Gabriel) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out. Allah's Apostle asked, Will they drive me out? Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said, Anyone (man) who came with something similar to what you have brought was treated with hostility; and if I should remain alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would support you strongly. But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while.

The process of Revelation was not simple but Khadija RA reassure Prophet SAW..

1st half of the Hadith

"Narrated 'Aisha: (the mother of the faithful believers) The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah's Apostle was in the form of good dreams which came true like bright daylight, and then the love of seclusion was bestowed upon him.

He used to go in seclusion in the cave of Hira where he used to worship (Allah alone) continuously for many days before his desire to see his family. He used to take with him the journey food for the stay and then come back to (his wife) Khadija to take his food likewise again till suddenly the

Truth descended upon him while he was in the cave of Hira. The angel came to him and asked him to read. The Prophet replied, I do not know how to read. The Prophet added, The angel caught me (forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read and I replied, 'I do not know how to read.' Thereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read but again I replied, 'I do not know how to read (or what shall I read)?' Thereupon he caught me for the third time and pressed me, and then released me and said, 'Read in the name of your Lord, who has created (all that exists), created man from a clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous. (96.1, 96.2, 96.3)

Then Allah's Apostle returned with the Inspiration and with his heart beating severely. Then he went to Khadija bint Khuwailid and said, Cover me! Cover me! They covered him till his fear was over and after that he told her everything that had happened and said, I fear that something may happen to me. Khadija replied, Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your kith and kin, help the poor and the destitute, serve your guests generously and assist the deserving calamity-afflicted ones".

The Revelation

Our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) greatest miracle is the Holy Quran. Allah called the Quran the Final Guidance. It is the only Book that is a source of guidance until the Day of Judgment.
The Quran was revealed to Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) over 23 years. It was revealed gradually in the form of Wahi (revelation), over a period of approximately 23 years.

What is Wahi?

Wahi means conveying Allah's will and laws to His Prophets and Messengers. In other words, the divine words of Allah Almighty are sent down to the Prophets.

There are two forms of Wahi in Islam:

1. Wahi Matlu (Recited Revelation) – In this type, strictly speaking, all the letters, words, and meanings are from Allah. Reciting these words is an act of worship.
2. Wahi Ghayr Matlu (Unrecited Revelation) – This refers to the commands and meanings from Allah that were given to Hazrat Muhammad (SAW), which the Prophet then conveyed to the people in his own words. This is the Hadith of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).

How Was Wahi Delivered?

Through an Angel: The most common method was through Hazrat Gabriel (AS), who brought the revelation to the Prophet.
True Dreams: Some revelation came through true dreams, which would come true exactly as shown.
Directly from Allah: Speaking directly with Allah, as Hazrat Musa (AS) spoke to Allah directly, and revelation was given to our Prophet (SAW) directly on the Night of Miraj (Isra and Mi'raj).
Inspiration into the Heart: Allah placed His knowledge into the Prophet's (SAW) heart, thoughts, and mind.

The Difficulty of Revelation

Whenever revelation came to Hazrat Muhammad (SAW), it was a profound moment. It was not an easy task to deliver Allah's message to the entire world when people were in extreme ignorance.
Receiving revelation and accepting it was not easy at all. All the Prophets spent a long period of their lives in deep reflection and worship before the revelation came.

What was this reflection upon?

· Upon themselves
· Upon Allah's being
· The journey to understand their purpose of coming
· The journey to understand the order of the world
· The journey to understand the Deen (religion)

INTENTION

Actions depend upon intention.

Whatever intention a person has in their heart when doing something, the reward will not be for the action itself but for the intention they had.

Reward will depend upon good or bad intention.

Is it only in Hadith about the intention of leaving one's homeland?
Is it only about the intention of love here?

No!

Every single action you do daily:

· Your prayer (Salah)
· Your way of life
· Your character (Akhlaq)

Every deed you do every day.

If you are praying Salah just for show —
(to show your family that you've prayed so no one says anything)
or someone forced you to learn it but your intention was completely opposite —
then what benefit is there in such prayer?

Allah (SWT) did not command us to just recite prayer,
He commanded us to establish prayer.

Now it is up to you, up to your intention —
do you offer prayer to connect with Allah,
or
do you just recite it mechanically for others to see or for your own satisfaction?

Allah has commanded charity (Sadaqah) to purify wealth.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught to give charity in such a way that even the left hand does not know.

But —
the Sadaqah / Khairat / Zakat that people give — is it with the intention of showing off or to gain Allah's pleasure?

If intentions are pure, why would people publicize it on social media?
If intentions are pure, why would people shout to others about how much they gave, to whom, when, and how?

When going to Allah's House (for Hajj/Umrah), who remembers where they are?
It's just Allah and His servant who has come to ask — everything.

This too depends on intentions.
Hajj is not destined for everyone, but if Allah has given you the means, then it should be purely for Allah's pleasure.

During this worship, do people find time to take pictures?
During this time, a person is immersed in the intoxication of this worship; no one is aware of anything else because this opportunity comes only with great fortune.

It is regretful for those who go to this place and still gain nothing.
Whatever actions you do in life, if your intention in doing them is purely to seek Allah's pleasure, then you are successful.
