📊 Trend Pulse: Spanish searches for “Verifactu 2028” are breaking out after plans emerged to move the pending Verifactu rollout to October 2028, aligning it with Spain’s wider e-invoicing transition.
🧾 Takeaway: For international sellers operating in Spain, the longer timeline creates more room to align invoicing systems, transaction data and local tax workflows before the new framework takes effect.
The practical priority remains the same: make sure order data can move consistently from marketplace or webshop through ERP and invoicing systems into the Spanish compliance process.

Prime Big Deal Days is live and Q4 demand is moving faster than the inventory plan behind it.
During 6–7 October, a sales spike can compress several weeks of expected stock cover into a much shorter window. Replenishment moves at a different speed: inventory still has to be available, prepared, transported and received before it can support the next wave of orders.

That timing gap is where the operational pressure starts.
Amazon reported that advertisers using Sponsored Products during the previous Prime Big Deal Days period were associated with a 37% increase in units sold versus average category growth. An uplift at that scale can quickly change which SKUs have enough stock for the weeks ahead and which need earlier attention.
The first calculation is days of cover at the new sales velocity. If demand accelerates while replenishment lead time stays fixed, the buffer between available stock and the next inbound gets smaller.
The second is where that inventory is being consumed. Demand can develop unevenly across European marketplaces, creating a trade-off between keeping stock consolidated and allocating more units toward markets where the available cover is falling fastest.

This October gives sellers a defined decision window. Prime Big Deal Days ends on 7 October, followed by Amazon’s 21 October Black Friday Week FBA inbound deadline for EU markets. That leaves 14 days to reassess the inventory position and prepare the next movement.
The numbers to carry forward from the event are therefore operational: sell-through, remaining stock, days of cover and replenishment lead time. Together, they show whether the original Q4 inventory plan still matches the demand now coming through.

A TikTok Shop setup can scale into another EU market faster than the operation behind it.
Catalogue data, mappings and existing workflows can provide a starting point for expansion. The next market still brings its own attributes, validation requirements and settings, which is where platform readiness starts becoming market-specific.

Fulfilment adds another layer of readiness. Additional demand has to connect with available inventory, stock allocation, carrier coverage, delivery expectations and a defined returns route in the market being added.

The operational tension sits between the two timelines. A market can be ready to accept orders before the logistics setup is ready to process them at the required scale. For teams expanding across Europe, market readiness therefore needs to cover both the storefront and the physical order flow behind it.

That is the practical context behind the 14 October M2E Cloud webinar, with FLEX. E-commerce Logistics joining as a media partner.
Rafael Uriarte Calvo, Anna Kapeliushko and Daryna Zheltikova will cover how teams can assess new EU markets, prepare catalogue data, identify listing issues early and reuse more of their existing TikTok Shop setup, followed by a live Q&A.

📅 14 October · 12 PM CEST

For teams considering their next TikTok Shop market, the useful preparation starts before launch: identify what can carry over from the existing setup, what needs market-level adaptation and what the fulfilment operation needs to support the resulting order flow.

📈 Cost Watch: FedEx’s fuel surcharge for Regional Economy services in Europe increased to 31.5% for 28 September - 4 October, up from 31.0% the previous week.
🧮 Cost Check: On a €100 eligible transport charge, a 31.5% fuel surcharge adds €31.50 before other applicable charges.
📦 Planning Point: For businesses shipping across Europe, the current surcharge should be factored into weekly transport costs rather than relying on the base carrier rate alone.

Amazon’s insurance requirement becomes more complex when the same seller operates across several EU marketplaces.
The policy itself is only part of the compliance setup. For Pan-European sellers, the certificate also needs to align with the marketplaces being served, including the relevant Amazon entity, territorial coverage, deductible structure and policy dates.
That creates a practical distinction between having liability insurance and having insurance documentation structured for the Amazon markets where inventory is being sold.

For sellers operating across Germany, France, Spain and Italy, the choice of insurance structure can also change the administrative workload. A master policy with multi-territory endorsements can centralize coverage and renewals, while country-specific policies create separate documentation, pricing and renewal cycles to control.

The operational risk appears when marketplace expansion moves faster than the insurance file.
Adding another country can mean checking whether the existing territorial wording still applies, whether another Amazon entity needs to appear on the certificate and whether the current documentation is ready for submission. A renewal approaching a new-country launch adds another timing dependency to the expansion plan.

For that reason, insurance compliance works best as a marketplace-level control process: keep accepted certificates by marketplace, track effective and renewal dates, assign ownership of updates and review the documentation whenever the selling footprint changes.
📣Our latest article examines how Amazon’s insurance mandate translates into the real policy and administrative cost of Pan-EU selling, including master versus local coverage and the certificate controls worth building into expansion planning.

🧩 Myth: One customer order creates one shipment in the warehouse.
📍 Data: An order can split into several shipments when the required inventory sits in different fulfillment locations. Each split can create its own ship-from point, picking and packing work, label and carrier movement.
🧠 Takeaway: Track the relationship between orders and shipments, especially in multi-location fulfillment. Order volume tells you how much demand entered the operation; shipment count gives another view of how much outbound ex*****on that demand can create.

A 17:00 carrier cut-off can create a warehouse deadline hours earlier.
The handover time sits at the end of a longer operating window. Before an order reaches the carrier, it needs to be released with enough time remaining for picking, packing and shipment preparation to fit inside that window.

That means the cut-off works backwards through the operation:
carrier handover ← packing complete ← picking complete ← order released.
Each stage effectively creates a deadline for the stage before it. If packing needs to be completed by 16:30, picking has to finish early enough to feed it. That requirement moves backwards again to the point when the order can still be released into the current dispatch cycle.

The calculation becomes more important as the workload changes. Higher order volume can extend picking queues, complex orders can consume more packing time, and additional preparation can reduce the buffer available before collection. The carrier may still arrive at exactly the same time while the warehouse’s latest viable release time moves earlier.

Used properly, the cut-off becomes a coordination point between order-release rules, processing capacity and the carrier schedule. Orders can then be assigned to the current dispatch cycle according to the time the warehouse genuinely has available to execute them.

At FLEX., cut-off logic helps define which orders can still enter today’s dispatch cycle and when the remaining volume should move into the next one. That gives warehouse teams a clearer ex*****on boundary as workload changes during the day.

➡ Take your next carrier cut-off and work backwards through the operation. The exercise can reveal which stage actually sets your last safe order-release time.

Fashion growth on eBay brings more moving parts into the operation behind every sale.
It brings more sizes, variants and product data into the setup. Expanding across markets adds another layer: listings need to remain discoverable and consistent, inventory has to stay accurate, prices need to be controlled, and incoming orders still need a clear path from marketplace to fulfillment.
For sellers building their presence on eBay in France and Italy, those elements increasingly need to work as one system.

On 29 September, our partners at M2E Cloud are joining eBay for a free webinar focused specifically on fashion sellers in these two markets.
The session follows that growth journey from marketplace visibility to operational scale, covering:
▪ how to improve fashion listing discoverability,
▪ what can strengthen buyer trust and support conversion,
▪ how to approach eBay’s latest Size Standardization requirements,
▪ how eBay Live can create another route to shoppers,
▪ how to keep listings, inventory, prices and orders aligned as the business expands.
Eligible new and returning sellers will also hear about special seller benefits, followed by a live Q&A.

🇩🇪 Planning Alert: Munich enters a restricted-access period from 19 September.
Oktoberfest-related road restrictions run until 4 October, affecting local access for collections and deliveries around Munich. The operational constraint is at the final-mile level, where restricted routes and access conditions can change the available delivery window.
🚚 Quick fix: Check Munich-bound shipments already scheduled for this period and confirm local access windows with your carrier before fixing collection or delivery times.

A ~€2 change in November can become a ~€5 cost problem when it lands on top of the existing cost stack.

Since July, a €3 duty per parcel line has applied to many qualifying low-value imports entering the EU. From November, an additional layer of approximately €2 is expected, bringing the working cost assumption to around €5 per parcel line. The final collection mechanism for the additional layer still requires confirmation, so the ~€5 figure remains a planning assumption rather than a fixed invoice line.

That increase moves directly into the economics of each affected shipment. A SKU that still works at the current €3 level may sit much closer to its margin limit at ~€5, particularly when several parcel lines are included in the same order.
And that is where the timing becomes operationally important. November is when the cost changes; September is when there is still room to decide how the operation should absorb it.

The starting point is the current cost base. July invoices can show how the existing €3 duty is being applied, while SKU-level landed-cost calculations can model the effect of another ~€2. From there, the pressure points become visible: which products can absorb the increase, where pricing may need adjustment, and which carrier or broker arrangements need clarification before Q4 volumes move.

Waiting until October compresses the same work into a much narrower window, when inventory plans and customer-facing pricing may already be set for November.
The real constraint is therefore lead time: a November cost change can require September decisions.

📣 Our latest article breaks down how the ~€5 cost stack is expected to form, what still needs confirmation and which checks belong on the September timeline.
