Happy 10th birthday to this awesome dude! I used to wear him and play this song to calm him, while I was cooking tea when he was just a wee baby.
Bodhi you are kind and thoughtful and I love how you try new things whether it's, surfing, the biscuit on the back of the speed boat, horse riding, ice skating you'll give things ago.
I love that your favourite meal is chilli mussels and you quite enjoy half dozen oysters when they are nice and fresh.
I loved watching you fall in love with Melbourne city and how you can catch trams to get your favourite places because your mother is direction challenged. I especially  loved how you made sure we had gold coins or notes to give the homeless people and how you bought some sandwiches and a drink.
You are a Champion and  my favourite  10 year old in whole wide world. Love ya!!

Hello! I’m still here.
It’s been a wild few months with Steel and I going to Europe in September, getting back and having 2 weeks to pack up the house, saying good bye to our beautiful homeschool community in Perth.
Renting out the house, moving NSW to my dads farm for the start of our adventure year. I am absolutely 100% loving spending time with all my beautiful kind and generous family, the kids are having a ball. There is an amazing homeschooling community here too, which is so awesome.

But it has not been smooth sailing, there has been many obstacles in our way, Gypsy our beautiful border collie almost died from some unknown poison, and a whole series of other unfortunate events. Many times I have rang Christian crying and said I want to move back to Perth. And he has simply said “well we can’t, we’ve rented out our house for a year.” 😂

✨So I’ve decided to love on all my family and old mates that are so stoked that we are here. Offer prayers and connect deeply with the land, sing my songs to the river and the trees. Pour libations for the earth spirits. Heal what needs healing, grow and expand from all the lessons that are literally being thrown at me, and hang out with the horses and just keep on keeping on.✨

I literally have so many photos and posts I want to share but I don’t have internet connection where we are staying. 😂 I still have loads of pics from my holiday with Steel I want to share. I’ll get around to it. I just have to be creative where I go to use internet.

Our little Chancey puss passed away on Sunday. She had been a part of our family for 13 years.
On her last day, we all went outside in the sunshine and layed beside her on the earth. We took turns in giving her loads of cuddles and in the late arvo when it started to get cooler outside we brought her inside and made a little bed for her on the couch. Her breathing changed, I called the kids around, we layed gentle hands on her and told her how very loved she was and she exhaled. I was completely caught off guard by how similar her death was to my mums and the grief got me good, like a blubbering mess for 3 days.
It was quite beautiful to see how the kids each honoured their own grieving process. Bodhi wrote a gorgeous poem, Sloane stitched a little felt heart for a pillow and Steel bought some flowers to plant on top of her grave.
We buried her under the olive tree (one of her favourite spots)
Steel dug a hole and carefully layed her in the earth. Sloane put the heart felt pillow under her head. Bodhi read his poem and placed it on top of her then we all sprinkled her body with flower petals and the kids took turns shovelling earth back on top of her and then planted the pansies on her grave.💕
