🎭 Walking Together: $15K–$50K Grants to Support Traditional Arts & Folklife in Communities of Color 🎨
Deadline: March 19, 2025 (Round One)
The United States Regional Arts Organizations (US RAOs) invite applications for Walking Together: Investing in Folklife in Communities of Color, a national funding program supporting folklife and traditional arts in communities of color. The program provides:
- $15,000 grants for traditional artists, practitioners, and knowledge keepers
- $50,000 grants for community organizations, including nonprofits, local/Tribal governments, businesses, and educational institutions
Folklife, often called the “art of everyday life,” includes creative expressions reflecting the aesthetics, values, and practices of cultural communities.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must reside in one of the 56 U.S. states and jurisdictions served by the RAOs (that includes Puerto Rico)
- Organizations must be a 501(c)(3), government entity, Tribal government, educational institution, or eligible business
- Individual artists/practitioners must demonstrate at least three years of engagement in traditional art forms and community connections
Application Process:
Round One Deadline: March 19, 2025
Selected applicants advance to Round Two (Deadline: July 21, 2025)
