The Palestinian Women and Water Network, in collaboration with the Water Sector Regulatory Council and the Palestinian Water Authority, organized a specialized workshop to discuss the initial outcomes of the "Guideline and Tool for Mainstreaming Gender in Water and Wastewater Service Institutions."
This initiative is part of the project “Women for Water: Access to Water and Sanitation in the West Bank, Palestine”, funded by AMB Spain.
The workshop aimed to review the key components of the guideline and tool currently under development, contributing to the integration of gender concepts into public policies, institutional structures, and service delivery mechanisms.
Eng. Banan Jadallah, General Manager of Talented IPT Engineering Company, delivered a presentation highlighting the main features of the proposed guideline and relevant preliminary recommendations.
The workshop also included a discussion on the content of the guideline, the tool, and the recommendations presented.
نظمت شبكة المرأة والمياه الفلسطينية بالتعاون مع كل من مجلس تنظيم قطاع المياه وسلطة المياه الفلسطينية، ورشة عمل متخصصة لمناقشة المخرجات الأولية لـ "دليل وأداة دمج النوع الاجتماعي في مؤسسات خدمات المياه والصرف الصحي". وذلك ضمن مشروع " Women for water: Access to water and sanitation in West Bank, Palestine " الممول من AMB spain
هدفت الورشة إلى استعراض محاور الدليل والأداة الجاري العمل على تطويرهما، بما يُسهم في تعزيز إدماج مفاهيم النوع الاجتماعي في السياسات العامة، والهياكل المؤسسية، وآليات تقديم الخدمة.
قدّمت م. بنان جاد الله، المديرة العامة لشركة تالينتيد أي بي تي للهندسة، عرضاً تناول أبرز ملامح الدليل المقترح والتوصيات الأولية ذات الصلة.
وتخلّل الورشة نقاش حول محتوى الدليل والأداة والتوصيات المطروحة
