Customer Service & Sales – Fluent in German
Position based in Lisbon, Portugal
Human Capital for Life is looking for a Customer Service & Sales to be part of a world-leading marine livestock business which also distributes and manufactures a large range of other products associated with fishkeeping and animal husbandry. It is a privately-owned group of companies with trading branches across the UK and in Europe.
We are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic customer-focused individual with administrative skills, to join our team based in Lisbon reporting to the Business Development Manager.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and possess a good grasp for another European language. This role requires a candidate to be customer focused and not be afraid to discuss sales, be able to undertake accurate administration tasks, have a professional telephone manner and the ability to connect and build relationships with customers. There will be daily handling of sales tasks, invoicing, export administration and activities that support Sales efforts. An interest in marine animals or general pet keeping would be advantageous but not required.
Full training given and duties will include but are not limited to:
• Building and maintaining good relationships with customers and suppliers, via sales calls and trips
• Creation of shipment orders and inputting all documentation to the in-house systems.
• Ownership of their sales and customer service process to achieve sales targets.
• Managing the timely resolution of queries and problems as they arise.
• Retaining a high level of autonomy as set out by management.
• Attending occasional trade shows and hobbyist events and sales trips to territory areas
• Looking for new business opportunities and onboarding new customers.
