How accurate is handheld LiDAR, really? 🤔

We took the GreenValley LiGrip O2 Lite for a walk around a site in Barcarena, Portugal — and checked every result against RTK-surveyed ground control from the Emlid Reach RS4 Pro.

The numbers: 100% of the scan fell within 3 cm of ground truth, with two-thirds of all points inside just 1 cm. All in a 4.5-minute walk and under 17 minutes of processing.
