Job title: Management Accountant
Reporting to: Group CFO
Office: Portugal - ALGARVE
Type: Full time OFFICE BASED ROLE
Qualifications: Professionally qualified accountant (CPA/CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CC preferred)
or qualified by experience

Fluent in English and strong understanding of Portuguese required.

Management Accountant
As Management Accountant for a large Portugal firm, you will be responsible for a branch office of our global group.
Your role will assist with local targets, budgets and forecasts and support the local board to create and maintain their financial plans. This role commands a strong commercial focus and mind-set with the ability to communicate in fluent English.
You will be comfortable challenging as and when appropriate and deliver all management information to the group financial teams in a timely and proactive manner.

The role is to add to our already large team of accountants an additional team member to support all matters of fiscal support to our client bank.
An understanding of the landscape of the tax matters in Portugal and preferable experience of working with international expatriates.
