The primary organ system that corresponds to the element of wood is the liver. The liver performs more than 500 functions within the body, the most important is as a filtration system for purification of toxins within the blood stream.

At the emotional level the challenge of
the wood element and the liver, is Anger. The gift of this emotional state is that anger motivates us to change and grow.

When we can release the toxins from our body and emotions, anger softens to kindness, to ourself and others.
