The Slitti Company was established in 1969 as a Coffee Roasting Workshop by Luciano Slitti who tired of serving cups of coffee he didn’t particularly like on his premises, decided to make a coffee on his own. Only specialists know how difficult is to create a blend that meets everyone’s consent. In 1988, when even Luciano’s sons, Daniele and Andrea, were already working in the company, the Slitti

family decided to add another colonial product to coffee and thus had the idea of starting to manufacture chocolate. Following his father's advice with regards to the art of blending, Andrea created special, jealously guarded recipes, giving life to cocoa blends that skillfully enhance their original qualities and aromas.
