1. Introduction
Modern televisions rely on display illumination systems to produce visible images.
In LCD and LED TVs, the backlight system is essential because the panel itself does not emit light.
In OLED TVs, pixels emit their own light, so traditional backlights are not used, but related power and pixel-drive issues are often mistaken for backlight failure.
Backlight repair focuses on diagnosing illumination problems, replacing faulty components, and restoring uniform brightness and picture quality.

a) LCD TV
Uses CCFL lamps (older models) or LED backlights
