Job Description: QA Software Tester

Your Responsibilities:
As a QA Software Tester, you will be part of a team developing a real-time platform for the automated interception, analysis, and visualization of radio signals. Within your Scrum team, your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the delivered product meets high-quality standards.

Assisting in writing well-defined user stories and creating testable acceptance criteria.

Developing test strategies and improving testability.

Performing manual testing early in the development cycle, focusing on context-driven and exploratory testing.

Writing and maintaining automated acceptance tests.

Balancing quality and efficiency to deliver results that are timely and customer-oriented.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of Agile Testing processes in collaboration with other teams.

Your Profile:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related fields.

Passionate about ensuring software quality.

2+ years of relevant professional experience in QA or software testing.

Skilled in creating test strategies based on acceptance criteria.

Experienced with bug tracking and testing tools.

Interested in automating acceptance tests using scripting languages.

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Additional Skills (Considered an Advantage):

Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Knowledge of Python or other programming languages.

Experience with test automation frameworks.

Implementarea NIS2 în România
Directiva NIS2 (Network and Information Security Directive) reprezintă un pas esențial în consolidarea securității cibernetice la nivel european. În România, implementarea acesteia presupune alinierea legislației naționale la cerințele directivei, care vizează creșterea rezilienței infrastructurilor critice, prevenirea incidentelor cibernetice și asigurarea unui nivel ridicat de cooperare între statele membre UE.

Principalele măsuri includ extinderea domeniului de aplicare al directivei asupra unui număr mai mare de sectoare, cm ar fi sănătatea, energia și furnizarea de apă, dar și asupra IMM-urilor considerate esențiale. România va trebui să creeze mecanisme robuste de raportare a incidentelor, să îmbunătățească capacitățile de răspuns la atacuri cibernetice și să consolideze autoritățile de reglementare, precum CERT-RO, în acest context.

Implementarea NIS2 este o oportunitate pentru România de a-și întări securitatea cibernetică și de a reduce vulnerabilitățile sistemelor digitale esențiale, contribuind astfel la o mai bună protecție a cetățenilor și a economiei naționale.

În România, Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), adoptat la nivelul Uniunii Europene, se aplică începând cu 17 ianuarie 2025 și vizează consolidarea rezilienței operaționale digitale a entităților financiare. Actul DORA stabilește un cadru uniform pentru gestionarea riscurilor legate de tehnologia informației și comunicării (TIC) în sectorul financiar.

Actul DORA implică adaptări semnificative pentru entitățile vizate, care trebuie să investească în infrastructură, procese și instruirea personalului pentru a respecta noile cerințe.
