What began as a one-week camp in Romania has grown into a set of experiences, anchored by Camp Ignite and expanded through internships, mentoring and job-shadowing.

As Ignite marks its 10-year anniversary, the story is less about scale and more about what happens when you listen, stay committed and grow with a community over time.

Across the globe, our employees lead the way through our growing inclusive design practice and Business Inclusion Groups like ADAPT, whose purpose is "to build a community of empathy, learning and support for all who are impacted by disability." On September 11, we gathered at the amazing space of our dealer partner COS - Stables to celebrate a decade of the Ignite Community Programme— and what a celebration it was!

With over 70 participants from across the years, including alumni from the camps, explorers, and mentorship programs, and former facilitators, the energy in the room was unmistakable.

It felt just like being back at camp. The laughter, the stories, the hugs and the tears reminded us of the deep connections this program has fostered. People travelled from far and wide to be there, to reconnect with old friends, and to relive the moments that shaped their journeys.

We shared memories, caught up on where life has taken us, and reflected on how Ignite has impacted our growth. It was emotional, joyful, and above all, a true celebration of community.

A heartfelt thank you to the Stables Office for hosting us and helping make this milestone so special, and to World Vision Romania, our community partner since day 1, who have made this program possible and helped keep the needs of the communities front and centre.

Here’s to the next 10 years of Ignite — and to the people who continue to make it unforgettable. 🥰

✨ We’re absolutely thrilled to have supported the National Kids Sing Festival in Romania, a celebration of young talent, creativity, and pure joy!

At Steelcase, we believe in nurturing potential wherever it shines, and this event was a beautiful reminder of how powerful local initiatives can be. From the energy on stage to the excitement in the crowd, it was an unforgettable experience — and we were proud to contribute a Steelcase Series 1 chair as part of the main prize for the winner of the Grand Trophy of 2025. One is never too young for ergonomics!

Huge thanks to the organisers for welcoming us into this vibrant community and for offering us space, and a special shoutout to Cristina Rus for connecting us with such a meaningful opportunity. Your passion and dedication made all the difference. Thank you to our EMEA Consumer Business Director, Andrea Kilin for taking the stage during the closing ceremony and presenting a bit about Steelcase before the announcement of the winner of the grand prize.

🎉 AI Made Simple – A Game-Changing Session!

We had an awesome time diving into the world of Artificial Intelligence with Vadim Fintinari from Know - Training for a better life and Chief AI Officer at RebelDot – and wow, what a ride! 🚀

Vadim walked us through what AI and Machine Learning really mean, how they’re different, and why businesses everywhere are jumping on the AI train.

But the best part? We didn’t just talk theory—we got hands-on with smart tools that can actually make our work easier and more efficient. From processing emails and offers to crafting strategies and doing market research, we explored how AI can be integrated into everyday tasks without needing a tech background.

The session was all about shifting our mindset and spotting real opportunities to use AI in our teams and products. We even got to play around with https://dot.rebeldot.com to start building strategies right away.
