CALL TO CONNECT | ALMA European Cooperation Network
ALMA (Aim, Learn, Master, Achieve) is a European active inclusion initiative for young people who are not in employment, education or training (NEETs). Developed by the European Commission and funded through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), ALMA combines personalised support in the participant's home country with a period of learning and work experience in another EU Member State, followed by measures that support their integration into education and/or the labour market after the mobility period.
In this context, the ALMA European Cooperation Network has been created as a professional space for connection, cooperation and exchange between organisations and stakeholders that can contribute to the development and implementation of ALMA projects across Europe.
We aim to bring together sending organisations, prospective host organisations, companies and organisations able to offer work placements, training and employment service providers, organisations experienced in transnational mobility, mentors and support professionals, as well as other stakeholders involved in the labour-market integration of young NEETs.
The group is designed as a space where members can introduce their organisations, present their experience, resources and capacity for cooperation, and connect with other organisations interested in developing ALMA-related partnerships.
Within ALMA, cooperation between sending and host organisations is essential. Among other things, host organisations may help identify companies or organisations able to offer work placements, support the administrative and logistical arrangements for the mobility period, and provide mentoring and guidance during the stay abroad.
Through this community, we want to facilitate:
the presentation of organisations and their relevant experience;
connections between sending and prospective host organisations;
the identification of work placement and work-based learning opportunities;
the exchange of experience, tools and good practices;
the development of transnational connections and future cooperation within ALMA.
If your organisation works in mobility, employment, training, inclusion or youth support and is interested in cooperating within ALMA, we invite you to join our community.
Join the group. Introduce your organisation. Share your experience. Connect for ALMA cooperation.
