We opened with one simple question to every student in the room: "How do you use AI?"

The answers set the tone for the whole hour. Our goal wasn't to tell students to stop using AI it's to help them use it as a thinking partner, not a replacement for their own thinking. Big difference, and one most young people have never been asked to consider.

Uburiza Solutions took part in the Withintechrwanda camp last week, facilitating this AI Fluency session for a room full of university students. This is the work we do building critical thinking into how young people actually use AI, for schools, camps, and youth programs.
