When two cultures move as one.

For the opening ceremony of LEAP East 2026 in Hong Kong, we commissioned a live generative artwork: Art of Opening, a piece exploring the creative connection between the Middle East and Asia.

Using BlackTrax live-tracking technology, every movement the dancers made was translated, in real time, into visuals that shifted with them, drawing on cultural motifs from both Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong.

A fitting way to mark the first time Leap travelled beyond Saudi Arabia. Now, we're turning our attention back home, to the next edition of LEAP in Riyadh, which will open its doors on 31 August.

Selected from more than 20,000 applications, the 2025-2026 Tahaluf Graduate Development Programme Cohort earned their place in one of the most competitive graduate intakes in the Kingdom, and they have spent the past year proving why.

They've learned how world-class events are built, across marketing, sales, operations, and content, working in real time on the shows that bring the world to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Another big night for live events in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦

Anthony Joshua fought, and won, in Jeddah last night. Beyond the result, it's a fighter Tahaluf knows well - AJ has attended Cityscape Global as an international property investor and served as a brand ambassador for Leap, taking time to meet our attendees and colleagues at both.

It's another sign of what the Kingdom keeps pulling off, global sport, business and culture, all landing on the same stages, often the same year.
