Celebrating Mothers Day by waking up early, to contribute with a Familysmart boost to parents at the Mon Village Caio popup cafe. Thank you for inviting me, dear Théodora Gomis, a great event! 🩷

Still amazed by the strong feeling of awakening in the room, the power of a often forgotten and universal fact. Same each time, when insights grow about how time with family (and all near and dear) develops transferable skills adding value at work. A matter of both personal & professional growth. 🧩☘️🌟

Celebrating myself as a mother too today.
To 3 wonderful young adults, and my 4'th baby - the Familysmart Workplace idea that 2010 became a book, starting an exciting, challenging and also rewarding entrepreneurial journey. Exploring the idea on a global arena.

Now we know how the FamSmart base idea is applicable in all companies and countries, to transform leader attitudes and workplace cultures everywhere. Increasing , , , , - a concrete action for more social and economic .

Now we know how to grow the idea further.

Being what we call familysmart is a matter of growth through all stages in life. Our own FamSmart team members care for both children, old parents, sick family members, friends, pets and others. Being a Familysmart employer is understanding why supporting all these parts of life is a value also at work. The wins with this mindset for both people and organization.

Great early "Midsummer Day" start 04.45 here in Sweden, while all here are sleeping 👍😃 . Wonderful, inspiring and important to meet employers and experts in Asia at the UN Women conference in Kuala Lumpur about Family friendly policies and employer support to parents and caregivers.

Thank you for inviting me, Amy Baum and colleagues, and to Asa Torkelsson at UNFPA United Nations Population Fund for connecting us.

We look forward to follow and support Asian employers to be more FamilySmart. Starting with the norm shifting key that's possible to highlight in all countries, regardless maturity level in companies and societies:

Ready to take on another exciting, intense and important work week.👍💪☘

The former gave a lot. 🙏

One of the highlights was “Jobbfestivalen” in Kungsträdgården, a big event with focus on Diversity & Inclusion and recruitment. Arranged by the fabulous Mats Wernheim.
Hundreds of employers met competent job seekers, and last year several hundred landed in a great match.👍😀

Exciting to hear the panelists and also to discover a bit which front line employers that want to offer a workplace in their work/ . = who know the most important keys that help them and employees through the phases of life, like when they become parents and take . Like the thoughts of Mikaela Tudeen Tudéen, EB specialist at Strawberry (the former Nordics Choice group brand new name) We identify organisations that think outside the box and dare to try new moves.

I now had the chance to network with another new star in our FamSmart team by my side: Maria Sölscher. 🤩

What a strong and smart combo we are! 😀👍 Maria's experience and deep knowledge of building digital solutions and tech teams is absolutely invaluable to us and our customers on the growth journey now.🙏

Besides, we have so much FUN when we work together! Important. 😃👍

I am so thankful, hopeful, relieved and happy. 🙏 😀
You who have followed my entrepreneurial journey during the years understand the feeling for sure.

The company is growing, with:

⭐ The large and growing group of "FamSmart believers" out there, supporters on the journey during the years.

And GROWTH is since the start (2010) the FamSmart key nr 1: Growth for individuals (competence development) and for companies/organisations (attract, develop, retain talent).

Now we can finally scale smart and fast - simply go as far as we and our customers want and need. Our solution is global. 😀 🌍

Below a late afternoon screen shot with one of my new fantastic team members, Marcus Larsson, when we after another intense working day tested some functions in Google Meet.. (Laughter is important now and then, especially when very busy and challenging days.)

I just left a session with amazing role model companies in Moldova, Kosovo and Albania, piloting the UNFPA Eastern Europe & Central Asia model , developed in collaboration with us.

Today a follow-up with experience shared from a train-the-trainer program about piloting a meeting with parents on leave.

The best practice with impact in the long run is always the one created locally, adapted to each company and country context. Examples of great ideas shared between the participants.

🌳 Outdoor parent meeting at INCA Albania – informal and energy boosting for all, and colleagues joined to mingle with the ones on leave. 😀

🚼 Viber Chat for dialogue with parents on leave and amazing child care initiatives at Panilino in Moldova, creating a work place culture inspiring many others.

💡 Inspiring online meeting example from Linella in Moldova, with very positive feedback from many in the company

👩‍👧‍👦 Raiffeissen Bank in Kosovo opened the parent meeting with a board member and mother of 3 sharing her story, a great way to show management commitment

🙌 Raiffeisen Bank Albania engaged managers in new creative ways, inviting them to the parent meeting. To listen to their employees on leave, and openly also sharing their own experience as working parents. Not always obvious to have managers join these meetings, but when it works and the work place culture is truly built on trust and openness, it can really add huge value for all.

All pilot companies got what we wished for too: lots of interest, curiosity and positive feedback from managers on all levels - a teaser that now leads to more concrete action. And a focus on like , , and , as well as how family develop and should be seen as an asset also at work.

Minns mina spontana reflektioner direkt efter Diversity Charter Swedens Fredagskunskap 24 feb på temat arbetsplatser..

Vilken morgon. Vilket gäng där i Nordeas studio. Tack igen Claes Peyron (Universum), Christian Horne (Ambea), Sandra Andrén (Grant Thornton Sweden), Marcus Andersson & Julia Hejdenberg (Contitude) och Henrik Dider (Trafikverket) för era olika perspektiv, viktiga berättelser och konkreta exempel. Det man tror på, det som verkligen gör skillnad.

Många polletter trillade ner hos många under pandemin, när alla plötsligt kombinerade arbete med privatliv och familj som aldrig tidigare. Möjlighetsfönstret är vidöppet nu, med insikter och beteendeförändringar som behövs - låt oss ta vara på det. Kunskapsdelning och erfarenhetsutbyte kring lösningar snabbar på den utveckling som behövs.

”A different perspective”… "A new thinking.."

Actually not new. But we don’t think and talk so much about it. A hidden resource to the leadership and self leadership needed.

Landing after-webinar impressions with Margareta Thorson, who has focus on D&I, Leadership Development, Culture and Change Management etc at Fujitsu. She invited employees in Sweden to the Lunch & Learn webinar ”Friends & Family Smart at work – for a more sustainable worklife through all stages of life”.

Honest and inspiring stories shared. Like how being a basket ball coach develops loads of and . And how builds the important awareness of how we never can assume that we fully understand another person. Not without asking questions to understand the children more. This requires and develops a that many leaders and employees should have more of towards each other, for easier and prosperous collaboration for all.

We also discussed other (than competence) company wins with a more Familysmart mindset at work. On top, connecting to common company values, was a more and work life where all can thrive, where it’s easier to employees, new top talent, get and as well as more and .

Looking forward to discuss further with openminded leaders/employees/employers about the universal keys connecting all in the same conviction: family life is valuable also at work and should be seen as an asset and investment, not a burden and cost. With and .

One of the most honest, inspiring and strong storytelling moments I have experienced on stage. Exactly what's needed to speed up the development of work place culture and norms in many countries. 👍🙏😊🌍

After great input about the WINS and WHY with company support to parents and caregivers - the business case and ROI - we moved on to HOW TO WALK THE TALK. With not only top level managers convinced of wins, but also leader buy-in on all levels.

Our dialogue in the afternoon at the UNFPA international conference about inclusive family policies in Istanbul focused on the norm shift key Nr 1: identifying and spreading examples from authentic role models living the company values and family supportive policies in everyday work life. Especially the impact of the personal stories from top level managers, describing how insights have changed their attitudes and behaviors over time.

Kasia Madera from BBC starting the first panel at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Conference about inclusive family policies in Istanbul today.

Dubravka Suica, European Commission Vice-President for Democracy and Demography first, talking about that no one should be left behind. Family care should be in the center of national policies. Accessible, available and affordable for all. Employers can also implement family supportive measures with lots if wins for them, not the least reduce the desire if employees to seek other employment. Happier families, sustainable workplaces and more resilient societies.

Followed by Marcel Spatari, Minister if Labour and Social Protection in Moldova, sharing how the Moldova government actively supports family friendly policies. Recently launching an extended family supportive package. With
flexible work schedules, more paid family leave, increased development of child care, and benefits to employers supporting child care.
