📝 Session Description: AI has often been used in because the stories that emerge from appreciative listening and sharing carry insights into the positive core and future possibilities of the human system. This session explores how analysing appreciative stories – both quantitatively and qualitatively – can crystalise our understanding of relationships between key themes, strategic places of high leverage, and priorities for systems change. This has wide-ranging applications in strategic planning and culture building initiatives. Through sharing of case studies and breakout conversations, we will inquire together: what is the highest future possibility of using AI as a research method in different fields of studies?

Bridging the Flexibility Gap in Singapore Workplaces! 🙌

Recent insights from a report highlight a mismatch between what Singapore employers believe about flexible work arrangements and what employees experience: 83% of employers think they offer flexibility, yet only 61% of employees agree.

Key findings:
• 85% of Singapore employees desire flexibility.
• Preferred arrangement: Hybrid work, followed by flexible hours and a four-day workweek.
• Benefits: Enhanced work-life balance and productivity.
• Challenges: Communication, collaboration, and potential longer hours.

The lesson? Aligning employer and employee understandings of flexibility is vital because it directly impacts workplace satisfaction, productivity, and overall well-being. There is a need for tailored flexibility to meet diverse needs. As such, we must foster dialogue for harmonising employee expectations with organisational goals. 🤝
