Recently released a video calling "Pay Upon Approval" a scam tactic, linking it to an ICA report regarding fake approval letters.

Their video is INTENTIONALLY misleading. The ICA report never mentioned "Pay Upon Approval" it identified a company demanding upfront fees close to $5,000. Read it yourself:

FACT: If your Singapore PR or Citizenship is approved, the Approval Letter / IPA can ONLY be retrieved from YOUR OWN MyICA portal via Singpass. NO AGENCY CAN RECEIVE IT FOR YOU.

BONUS FACT: Search them on ACRA BizFile. They were previously registered as MINISTRY OF IMMIGRATION PTE. LTD. Misleading name to make foreigners think they were a government agency? You decide.

2. DIRECT SINGAPORE ADVISORY
Take a look at their Google reviews claims of having an "Immigration Lawyer" handling applications. Lawyers in Singapore CANNOT work for non-law firms like this without risking their law license.

Look at their website photos: Happy families and "approvals" look completely AI-generated.

ACRA BizFile check: Registered only 1 year ago, yet claiming to have helped 9,700++ people? 😂

3. INSPIRE IMMIGRATION
Business must be sinking, leaving them no choice but to steal our "Pay Upon Approval" structure instead of coming up with an original idea.

Lack of genuine reviews and zero real photos of consultants with actual clients after approval.

"My friend said I have to wait 2 years..." — The high cost of listening to your friend "The Expert" or what we call "The Idiot".🤦‍♂️

We recently met a prospect who had been in Singapore for 19 months. High earner, great industry, excellent profile. But they decided they have to wait another 5 more months at least before they submitted. Why?

Because a friend "The Expert" or what we like to call "The Idiot" read a forum thread somewhere that ICA would auto-reject anyone without two years of IRAS tax assessments.

The Ugly Truth: That "idiot" was dead wrong. And their bad advice cost their friend a full year of progress toward their PR.

In our new segment, "Breaking PR Myths from your friends," we’re calling out the nonsense. Here is the actual reality:

1. The 6-Month Rule: ICA does not require years of salary history. They require your latest 6 months of payslips at the point of submission. That is the baseline.

2. The Job-Switch Myth: Heard that you need to stay at a new company for 6 months before applying? Wrong. You can submit a mixture of payslips (e.g., 5 months from your previous firm + 1 month from your new one), provided there is no employment gap.

3. Income Tax: You don't need to wait for multiple tax seasons to pass. If you have the slips, you have the opportunity to achieve your PR status.

The Bottom Line: Your friends might mean well (we don't actually believe that), but when it comes to your future in Singapore, listening to an "idiot" is just plain stupid. Stop taking advice from people who don't see the inside of the ICA portal for a living. Over here it's our job to achieve multiple approvals for all of our clients.
