One day, I will probably miss these little moments.

The messy house.

The endless questions.

The “Mummy, come play with me.”

Even the moments that test my patience.

Motherhood can be tiring, but these are also the days I know I will look back on and miss.

So today, I am choosing to enjoy the little things.

Maybe you are capable of much more than you think.

“I have never run a business.”
“I am not good with technology.”
“I do not know anything about marketing.”
“I do not have enough time.”

But every expert was once a beginner.

You do not need to know everything or have all the experience. You just need to be willing to learn, grow, and give yourself a chance.

Sometimes, you just have to start.

Today is Teacher’s Day, which means no school today.

So instead of staying home, I arranged a little playdate for my girl.

The girls had so much fun playing, and simply enjoying their time together.

I love these little weekday moments. No rushing to school, no work pile up, just happy kids and happy moms.

Ending the week with a little play, laughter and friendship.

One day, these little moments will be gone.

The little voice calling:
“Mummy!”

The little hand reaching for mine.

The request to play one more game.

The stories that make absolutely no sense but somehow make me laugh.

The hugs before bedtime.

As moms, we often think about providing the best for our children.

But sometimes, the best thing we can give them is not something we buy.

It is our presence.

That is why I became intentional about creating a lifestyle where I have more flexibility.

Because I do not want to look back one day and realise I was so busy building a life for my child that I missed living it with her.

The years really do go by faster than we think.

Mom life can get so busy that we sometimes forget to make time for ourselves.

Today, I enjoyed a simple afternoon with a friend, lunch, a little shopping, and coffee.

Nothing fancy, just some good company and much-needed me-time.

Sometimes, these little moments are all we need to recharge.

What is that one thing you have been thinking about but have not done?

Maybe you have been wanting to:

🌸 Learn a new skill
🌸 Start something of your own
🌸 Look for a different way of working
🌸 Take better care of yourself
🌸 Spend more intentional time with your family
🌸 Explore a new opportunity
🌸 Finally do something you've been putting off

You think about it.

You talk yourself into it.

Then life gets busy again.

And another month passes.

I wonder how many things we postpone not because we do not want them, but because we are afraid to disrupt the comfortable routine we are already in.

As we head into the final four months of the year, maybe it is worth asking ourselves:

“If I keep doing exactly what I am doing now, will I be any closer to what I have been wanting?”

If the answer is no.

Perhaps something needs to change.

Not everything.

Just something.

When we come across a new business opportunity, it’s natural to first think,
“What am I selling?”

But sometimes, there are other questions worth exploring too.

🌸 What skills could I learn along the way?
🌸 Is there a system and support to guide me?
🌸 How much flexibility would it give me?
🌸 What could I learn about myself through the process?
🌸 And if I stay consistent for the next 1, 2 or 3 years, where could this journey take me?

For me, building a business is not only about what we have today.

It is also about the skills, experience and foundation we are building for tomorrow.

So if you are exploring something new, perhaps take some time to understand how it works, ask questions, learn at your own pace, and see whether it aligns with what you are looking for.

No pressure, no need to rush into a decision.
Sometimes, understanding something first is simply the first step.

You do not have to quit your job to explore something new.

You do not have to turn your whole life upside down.

And you definitely do not have to know everything from day one.

Sometimes, you can simply start by learning.

That is how I approached my digital business.

I started by understanding the model, learning the skills and seeing how it could fit around my life as a mom.

Then I built it gradually.

What I love most is that I did not have to choose between being a present mom and having something of my own.

If you are currently working but have been thinking about having another option.

Or you are a mom who wants to build something while still prioritising your family.

Maybe it is worth taking some time to understand what is out there.

You do not have to decide.

You just have to be willing to explore.

Today, I joined my girl for her school event.

And as I was there, I suddenly felt really grateful.

Grateful that I didn't have to check the date first and wonder, “Can I take leave?”

I could simply say, “Yes, Mummy can be there.”

These may seem like small moments, but as a parent, they are the moments I know I will treasure.

This is one of the reasons flexibility means so much to me.

Not because I do not want to work, but because I want to build something that allows me to be present for the moments that matter.

Because sometimes, the best part of what we build is being there for the moments we can never get back.
