Everyone is saying that my HDB is a Depreciating Asset... but is it true?

So what if the value drops?

I am happy in this BIG space and COMFORTABLE monthly instalments.

Why Upgrade then? Why Add another Commitment? Strap myself with all the High monthly instalments?

Must I really upgrade from a HDB to a Private condo?
