What is the rationale of raising BTO prices (as suggested / questioned by the author) if the prices of resale HDB were to be kept low? BTO owners will definitely be looking to make at least some profit when they sell their units after MOP. Wouldn’t the raise in BTO prices drive the price of resale market go even higher instead of “deterring” them away from mature estates?
