The Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay is a truly magical sight to behold and redefines the celebration of this festive season in Singapore. Parent and child alike will be mesmerised by the gorgeously-illuminated gazebo, the Luminarie light sculptures that were specially flown in from Italy, and the Spiegeltent from the Netherlands that’s two-centuries-old. Graffiti has been negatively perceived as an act of vandalism for a long time in Malaysia. The passing of time, however, is imperceptibly altering people’s perception of this misunderstood art form. During my trip to the Malaysian capital, I decided to search high and low for the best sites where the graffiti scene is kept alive.

Bako National Park is a perfect representation of the Sarawak fraction of Borneo. Covering a relatively small area of 27 square kilometres, it features an extensive range of wildlife and vegetation. When I was there, I had my mind fixed on finding Telok Pandan Kecil, a stunning beach that can best be described as a small piece of paradise. Here are some images documenting my adventure. Enjoy!
