Champagniac 2025!

The highly anticipated two-day event, Champagniac, was held on November 8 and 9, 2025 at the Changi Experience Studio at Jewel Changi Airport. Overlooking the Rain Vortex, it was a stunning backdrop for Singapore's largest Champagne gathering to date.

The festival was brought about by 5 amazing people with a view thay Champagne can be fun and approachable to everyone. The 2 day event achieved that with over 100 labels of top and grower Champagnes, a wonderful turnout and everyone had fun with the carnival-esque atmosphere.

SKLO partnered with Champagniac as the official glassware sponsor for the walkabout event and the masterclasses. It was really exciting to see our own Designed in Singapore stems featured! Thank you very much!

The Grape Escape 2025 had a Masterclass component which ran parallel to the Walkabout Tasting and the Sommelier Competition. The four sessions provided a more in depth exploration with our very qualified speakers.

1. Taste without Labels: A Blind Exporation of Italy's 6 Native Grapes
2. Sake and Shochu Unveiled: Demystifying Japan's National Drink
3. Two Grapes One Legend: A Jorney to Italy's Finest - Nebbiolo and Sangiovese
4. Niagara In a Glass: Canada's Premier Wine Journey

The SKLO Evolution 50 Tasting Glass was the stemware selected for the Masterclass series. Designed-In-Singapore with the Sommelier Association of Singapore (SAS), this was the first time we shared the Red Dot Design Award stemware with the Singapore wine community.

We were really excited and happy that SKLO and SAS managed to showcase our design in one of the most important local wine event in Singapore!

The annual Singapore Sommelier Competition is back this coming Sunday at the Shangrila Singapore Hotel. Come by to see the final 3 compete for the National Champion.
