East Coast Mums

East Coast Mums Founded as a social group in Jan 2006 in the eastern part of Singapore, we now have 8 Facebook Groups affiliated to this page. Check out the tab "GROUPS".

Founded in Jan 2006, The East Coast Mums' Support Group in Singapore was set up as a means for mothers and mothers-to-be to get together. This group gave the ladies a place to build their social support system, create treasured friendships, and for their babies, crawlers and toddlers to play with other children. Facebook came along and it became a great avenue to be in communication with ladies in

the neighbourhood even if they have not met in person. In 2017, our group crossed 11,000 members - and we have 8 groups under our umbrella. – expanding our reach to 30,000 members. This page was set up to continue to support the community with advice, information and tips about motherhood, parenting, settling into Singapore, what to do with young children and where to find things or services but on an open platform – that you can choose to have in your newsfeed. The intent is to build a community, provide as much value via content and resource with all who contribute to a quality and happy life and family, here on the East Coast of Singapore.

2017 sees a new look “east coast” group – that remains true to our core – but with our sights fixed firmly on the future and how we can better serve the community and the businesses who thrive here on the East.

Hi, we are a community partner to help promote awareness of this initiative that will benefit greatly the vulnerable families who are in need of laptops for their children during this period of home-based learning. Engineering Good is helping to distribute the laptops even up to 2 weeks into the Circuit Breaker period. You can donate the spare laptop that you don't use anymore, donate funds, or volunteer (please enquire with them directly using the form on their website about the details of volunteering during Circuit Breaker)

Hi, do u know of a vulnerable community, group or individuals that would benefit from home engagement kits during this stay-home period?
These kits are prepared by ArtSE, a social enterprise which curates art experiences and art workshops as therapy for persons with disabilities and special needs. ArtSE is distributing these home engagement kits to social service agencies and has reached out to us if we know of anyone in our group that would benefit. Please email [email protected] and mention "Home Engagement Kits request via ECM".
