Replaced worn-out starting block mats at Hollandse Club.

The old surfaces had little to no grip.
New anti-slip mats provide better traction and more stable starts.

A small upgrade that makes a real difference for both safety and performance.

From start to finish — or in this case, start end to finish end — this pool came to life in just under 2 months.

What once was bare ground is now a competition-ready pool, fully fitted with World Aquatics-compliant starting blocks and built to perform at the highest level.

Thanks to Myrtha Pools’ advanced technology and modular design, the installation process is not only swift — it’s engineered for precision, durability, and long-term excellence.

Proudly brought to life by Spectrum Sports, the Jaka Baring Aquatic Centre in Palembang features two world-class pools that set the stage for greatness! We partnered with Myrtha Pools to deliver a 51m Competition Pool equipped for swimming and water polo, along with a Myrtha RenovAction Diving Pool—ensuring top-notch facilities for athletes.

These pools played a pivotal role during the 26th Southeast Asian Games from 11–22 November 2011 in Palembang and Jakarta, creating a legacy for aquatic sports in the region.
