Cocoon Capital has launched the 7th edition of Female Founder Mentoring Hours for Southeast Asia! Supported by Enterprise Singapore and Amazon Web Services (AWS), 40 investors from the top VCs are collaborating to support over 100 female founders over 2 days.

On 24 & 25 August, female founders will each have the opportunity to meet 4 investors for one hour of remote mentoring hours to discuss their tech business idea, ask for advice and pitch for investment.

The Mindful Village at Found8 Amoy ✨

Did you know that mindfulness has the power to help us in our day-to-day lives and drive us towards being more aware, accepting and less stressed?

We organise Found8 Community Networking events on the last Friday of each month, and last Friday we had Sunset Meditation, hosted by The Mindful Village, for our members to unwind and destress from the week.

The session was led by Han Ee Lim, Performance Psychologists and one of Asia's first fully qualified instructors of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program.

He introduced mindfulness into the daily lives of our members while teaching them how to develop the fundamentals of a sound mindfulness practice with deliberate application.

We're happy to see everyone learning about mindfulness, relaxing, and getting to work on better mental health and wellbeing.

On the last week of May, we had Launchpad host their first event at our High Street Centre lounge!

The atmosphere was abuzz with participants of the Launchpad IRL Fashion Panel & Workshop - Can fashion be sustainable?. It was truly a scene we've all missed since the pandemic.

Before the panel started, light bites were provided and people networked and mingled to get to know each other. The amazing panelists Jaffer, founder of ZERRIN, Murphy, founder of The Reoutfitter Pte. Ltd. and Tuan, founder of Cloop led an awesome discussion and breakout session with our members.

The crowd had an amazing time and so did we! 👗👠

Since the pandemic, it has been more than 2 years of working from the comfort of our homes for the majority of us, and that resulted in minimal socialising and activities.

As much as 80% of events, networking, and basic social activities were restricted for as long as we can remember.

After a 2 year hiatus, things are finally getting back to normal. While hybrid and in-person community networking events are gradually resuming, we have faced difficulties to attract people to show up.

Fortunately, Peppy Coffee Singapore got the ball rolling by hosting a fun and interactive coffee tasting session for our first Community Networking Event at Found8 High Street Centre Lounge.

Peppy Coffee Singapore specialises in cold brew that’s easy and quick to prepare. Their freshly roasted and ethically sourced coffee is traceable and is 100% Arabica.

They showcased their products through a coffee tasting experience which garnered great interest from our members and everyone had an amazing tea time break!
