I must say this is one of the most incredible photo shoots in many senses.
Few months ago, I got an enquiry from Mr Usui, saying he is going back to Japan after 6 years of staying in Singapore and his wife is coming over to help him pack stuffs, so he was wondering if they could do a photo shoot for their memory.
He kindly mentioned that they are not a young couple, so if it's all right for me. So, I answered that you don't need to worry about it at all, as I've shot 70-90 years old people before. However, to be honest, i thought it's not going to be as easy as a normal young couple.
Cos usually, old Japanese couple don't even want to hold hands in front of people. So I didn't have so many idea of how to pose them. I was thinking like '' should I ask them to stand 1m away each other ? '' like seriously.
And... LOOK AT THEM !!!
How stupidly I've wasted my time with such totally unnecessary worries !!!!!
First of all, nobody would ever believe that they are actually in their 50's. ( Yes, I know you wanted to faint right now. lol)
I was waiting for them expecting '' an old couple. '' However, the couple showed up was totally didn't look like an old couple.
I was like '' I'm supposed to shoot a family photo today, right ? Not a pre-wedding, right ? Or WAS I WRONG TO BEGIN WITH ?!! ''
While shooting, I totally didn't feel like I was shooting a family photo, I felt like as if I was shooting a pre-wedding indeed.
It's not only because they look young, but also they are soooooooooooooo in love with each other as much as newly weds !!!
There was even a guy passing by gave them cheers like '' Congratulation ! '' Yeah ! He was fricking right !! If I were him, I would say the same thing !!
HOW UNBELIEVABLE IS THIS COUPLE ?!
Considering the fact that they are actually Japanese, I seriously think even Walt Disney wouldnt believe that.
How people could be in love after decades of marriage ?!!
I'll tell you more stories about them with more images coming up ;)
