We will be relooking into the page and if we should be opening another instead.

[How One Behaves in Little Matters Contributes to their Personal Brand]

Accompanying my daughter and her class for the school's weekly swimming lesson at a public pool, I overheard a young voice trying to hide his growing frustration.

A young boy of 8 named Ezan was trying to explain to his classmate to pick up and discard a food item which he had dropped onto the floor. "Others may step on it and it will make a mess of their shoes! Please be considerate to others!" Yet, each passing explanation seemed to fall on deaf ears. The other student simply refused to pick it up. Finally, exasperated Ezan finally picked up the offending food item and threw it into the nearby bin.

This exchange was extremely fascinating to me because Ezan was labelled as a trouble maker in school:

He is unable to follow orders such as "sit down and listen quietly".
He is unable to remain at his seat but is often touching, exploring and experimenting with something.
He is seen as the odd one out among the peers - the "sore thumb".
He is not one of the smartest and has little academic achievements to speak of.

And yet all this while, the other students with better academic achievements were watching them. Just watching.

Don't write off that C student anytime soon.
