Behind every family is a father who showed up. The early mornings, the long days, the sacrifices no one saw and the love that never asked for anything in return.

This Father’s Day, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers and father figures in our community who have spent a lifetime caring for others. Today, we honour them.

At Empower Ageing, we’re proud to see our seniors continue to learn, connect, stay active and inspire those around them. Their stories remind us that age is not a limit — it’s a legacy.

To all fathers: thank you for your strength, your wisdom and the countless lives you’ve shaped along the way.

Grateful for the opportunity to be part of Health Together Carnival @ West Coast on 28 March 2026.

Empower Ageing was honoured to engage seniors, residents and community partners in promoting healthy and meaningful ageing within the community.

We were also privileged to have Minister Desmond Lee grace the event and support initiatives that empower seniors and strengthen community partnerships.

We also introduced one of our popular Cage Ball Game, where seniors learnt how to play while staying active and engaged. It was heartening to see many seniors participate and enjoy the activity together. 😊

A heartfelt thank you to and all partners, volunteers and seniors who made this event meaningful. We look forward to continued collaboration to support seniors across our communities.

Celebrating Chinese New Year with our seniors across two locations through the Kopitiam Initiative

It was a meaningful time filled with laughter, conversations and community spirit. Our team also prepared oranges and fortune cookies for all participants as a symbol of blessings and good fortune for the year ahead. 🍊🥠

Stepping Beyond Comfort, Discovering Strength

We understand that many seniors feel most comfortable staying within their own neighbourhood. But growth often begins with one brave step outside that comfort zone.

Through our collaboration with Spartans Boxing Club , our seniors travelled beyond familiar spaces and discovered something greater:

💪 Strength they didn’t know they had
🤝 New friendships
✨ Confidence in trying something new

It wasn’t just a boxing session. It was a reminder that it’s never too late to explore, to challenge yourself and to grow.

At Empower Ageing, we journey with our seniors by gently encouraging them to step forward, knowing they are never alone.

Because sometimes, stepping out of your neighbourhood leads you to discovering your own resilience.

Grateful for the opportunity to showcase Empower Ageing’s creative work through our Kopitiam initiative at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre last Friday.

Volunteer Appreciation Day

At Empower Ageing, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. This day was dedicated to recognising the remarkable efforts of both our youth and senior volunteers, who generously give their time, energy and care to support our work and the senior community.

Appreciation is not just a gesture it is a core value. Taking time to acknowledge our volunteers reminds them that their contributions truly matter and are deeply valued.

We are grateful to Mr Albert Lim (Chairman) and Mr Jason Zheng (Board Member) for their ongoing support and encouragement; and to Mr Narash (CEO) for connecting individually with each volunteer, listening to their feedback and recognising them beyond their roles.

To all our volunteers: thank you for joining this meaningful journey with us. Your dedication strengthens bonds between generations and helps build a more inclusive community.
