just a reminder to never settle bc you’re literally someone’s dream girl ❤️

In previous relationships I always felt that maybe I was asking for “too much”, been told that I was “too picky”, or my standards were “too high” but deep down in my gut I just knew… that there HAD to be my person out there.

So I never lowered my standards, but poured my energy and effort into building a full, beautiful life on my own — with my friendships, my mindset, my emotional resilience, and focused on becoming a woman I loved and respected deeply.

I never believed in changing a man, but simply in being very clear about what you want. The wrong men will be “repelled” and the right one will recognise that you are what he has been looking for, someone who has a high standard not just for her partner, but most of all for herself and the world she builds around her.

If you are an independent, ambitious woman… know that the right man will not make you feel like his mom or make you carry the weight of leadership in the relationship, he will never let you doubt where he stands or what his intentions are… he will be so secure in his masculine energy that you will find a beautiful type of lightness and femininity in just simply being light, happy, and free.

(And in the meantime, you build a FULL and beautiful life that you love, appreciate, and enjoy, with or without a partner) 🌎

All that to say… no matter what perfect pictures you see on social media, there are always things in private that people choose not to show (and often, for good reason). But if you happen to be going through a tough season, just know that it is perfectly normal and you are not the only one.

But keep going through the seasons and I promise, this too shall pass and you will fall in love with a version of you that is stronger, kinder, and more resilient that you ever even knew. ❤️

And be a little kinder to people, because you never know what season they’re going through behind the scenes, or what they’ve gone through in order to arrive at their current place.
