Menopause Can Change How Stress Feels
You may still be doing everything you used to do.
The meetings.
The commute.
The emails.
The family responsibilities.
The constant problem-solving.
But suddenly, your usual ability to cope doesn't feel quite the same.
During menopause, hormonal changes can affect experiences such as sleep, temperature regulation, mood and fatigue.
That doesn't mean you're failing at managing stress.
It may mean your body is going through a significant transition — while you're still trying to maintain the same pace of life.
Instead of asking:
“Why can't I handle this anymore?”
Try asking:
“What does my body need now?”
A slower transition between work and home, intentional pauses, gentle movement, breathing practices and meaningful recovery may help create more space to regulate.
Menopause isn't something you simply need to push through.
It's a transition worth understanding.
